Colgate-Palmolive reaches their mid-America customers by sponsoring the nation’s largest country music talent search. 100’s of radio stations across the nation hold local contests, send winners to state competitions, and then top winners compete on television. We publicized the nationally televised event and introduced winner Michele Rene to the industry in Nashville and across the nation as she won $100,000 and a recording contract with a top label, and we featured the program’s retail components in trade publicity.
